The Challenge
Personal finance apps often overwhelm users with data and complex features. Our goal was to create an experience that made financial management feel approachable and even enjoyable.
Research & Discovery
Through user interviews with 25 participants, we identified three key pain points: intimidating interfaces, lack of actionable insights, and difficulty maintaining consistent tracking habits.
Design Solution
We developed a clean, card-based interface that progressively reveals complexity. The app uses color-coded categories, gentle notifications, and achievement-based motivation to encourage consistent use.
Results
Post-launch metrics showed 78% daily active usage rate and 4.8 App Store rating. Users particularly praised the clarity of visualizations and ease of budget creation.
